Most devices made by Apple—from iPhones to Magic Trackpads—need a Lightning cable in order to charge.Apple’s special”Lightning connector”charging cable and port will still be allowed on iPhones in Britain despite an EU ban,it has been reported.New European rules mean phones will need to have a USB type-C charger by autumn 2024. Apple is nothing but pragmatic, and it knows it can only hold out for so long. The Telegraph reports that the Government has said it is not”currently considering”matching the EU legislation. The rules cover devices including tablets, smartphones and speakers, eventually extending to laptops too.

However, lightning connectors will be banned in Northern Ireland, says The Telegraph. This is because of the Northern Ireland Protocol-an outcome of Brexit which means the province still follows some Single Market rules.Apple data line lightning buy regular better, because lightning cable need to be formal third party an apple after apple MFi certification, the cable will be built in a specialized for certification of MFi chip,as long as have this chip, even if is the original line can also be used, there is no popup window with a period of time can’t use.

Apple,of course, fought back.It claimed that changing iPhone charging cables would result in a huge amount of e-waste.The EU said the new rules aim to reduce hassle for consumers and curb electronic waste by removing the need to buy a new charger with a new device. The rules will apply to“all small and medium-sized portable electronic devices”,while laptops will have to be adapted to fit the requirements 40 months after they come into force.

Apple Lightning data cable is constantly upgraded to meet user needs.

The move needs to be approved by the European Parliament and European Council later this year, but that is expected to be a formality now the outline of the proposals has been agreed.

European Parliament spokesman Alex Agius Saliba said:“European consumers were frustrated long with multiple chargers piling up with every new device. Now they will be able to use a single charger for all their portable electronics.Apple’s original data line is easy to rot, mainly because apple uses a relatively environmentally friendly data line skin material, this material can be degraded, almost no pollution to the environment, but there is a disadvantage is easy to damage.

“We are proud that laptops,e-readers,earbuds,keyboards,computer mice and portable navigation devices are also included in addition to smartphones, tablets, digital cameras, headphones and headsets, handheld videogame consoles and portable speakers. We have also added provisions on wireless charging being the next evolution in the charging technology and improved information and labelling for consumers.”

Ben Wood, chief analyst at CCS Insight, said:“Although Apple has made a strong argument for it keeping its Lightning connector, given the one billion active iPhone users, some of its products including Mac and iPad Pro now support USB-C.Hopefully it will eventually become a non-issue if Apple keeps adding USB-C to more devices and that means ultimately we could see USB-C coming to iPhone.”

Apple could be forced to move away from the iPhone lightning connectors that are used in the charging cable for iPhones,iPads.Apple data line purchase,it is recommended to choose the regular manufacturers,as long as the regular brand of MFi data line, usually there is no problem.

Picture this: You’re sitting at your desk, engrossed in a project, and suddenly you trip over your laptop’s charging cable. In an instant, your laptop dropped to the floor, giving you a sinking feeling in your stomach. This unfortunate situation was all too common for MacBook users, until Apple introduced a revolutionary solution – MagSafe cable.

MagSafe 2 and MagSafe 3.

MagSafe 1 charger debuted on the 2006 MacBook Pro with its magnetic attachment and easy detachment. The first ‌MagSafe‌ port has a square design with five holes that connects to the included port using a magnetic connection. The idea is that if the connector is pulled, it will detach quickly and smoothly without damaging the ‌MagSafe‌ connector or ripping the MacBook Pro off the table or desk. Since its release, it has been an instant hit with MacBook users.

Initially, Apple used a T-shaped design that pulled the wires directly out of the machine, and MagSafe charging port later transitioned to an L-shaped design that placed the wires on the side of the computer. The T-shaped design was used from 2006 to 2009, while the L-shaped design was used from 2010 to 2012.

However, as technology advanced and laptops became thinner and lighter, Apple faced a challenge – how to adapt the sleek design of new devices while maintaining the convenience and security of MagSafe. About a decade later, USB-C gradually replaced Apple’s MagSafe. USB-C cables certainly have their advantages, but MacBook Pro owners have never forgotten about MagSafe.

MagSafe 2 cable

Miniaturization led Apple to launch MagSafe 2 in 2012. MagSafe 2 uses a thinner T-shaped connector, allowing Apple to create a slimmer MacBook. The new design fit the thinner Mac computers Apple released that year. While some users prefer the smaller form factor, the Apple ‌MagSafe‌2 connector is not compatible with the original ‌MagSafe‌ connector and requires an adapter.

Apple brought back the T-shaped design with the ‌MagSafe‌2 cable and stuck with it throughout the Apple ‌MagSafe‌’s lifecycle.
